Sara Malinarich, Chilean artist specialized in multimedia, has worked in the development of platforms and technological interfaces for creation, collaborating in European projects within the Culture2000 program (2002-2003) through the International Museum of Electrography (MIDE, Spain). In her private projects, she explores the territories of virtual reality. An example of this is her multimedia artworks New process 1.0 and Claroscuro presented at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Her Net.Art projects include works such as e.scher system and Luminisensor; the last one showed in different museums of Spain. One of her last creations, presented at the Festival of Art and Science, Symbiosis (2005), refers to the artificial life through a cybernetic plant (Foto.Sin.Tesis). The same year, she proposed and directed the international Órbita Project, among Latinamerican and Europe, making the Órbita[05] Festival of Theshared Actions by Webcam at Museum of Science, in Cuenca, Spain. In relation to the Art of Action, one of her recent artwork, Re make up, has been showed in festivals of video and performance in the United States, Sweden, Chile, Spain, Uruguay, Argentine and Mexico. Parallel to this, the international collaborative project, INTACT [Interface for the teleshared action] (2005-2007) is proposed and directed by her, making different presentations in Asturias, Cuenca and Paris. Since 2000 she resides in Spain and part of her artwork has been documented for the Caixa Catalunya Foundation, Barcelona (Claroscuro and Órbita).
